HOPE HOUSE, WEYMOUTH: JOB VACANCY
Hope House is a children’s, youth and community hub for the Parish of Radipole and Melcombe Regis, with Chickerell and sits in the grounds of St John’s Church – just off the sea front.
As a result of an impending organisational change, we have a vacancy for an experienced Building Manager to manage the operation of Hope House. Key duties include:
- being responsible for ensuring the building is properly maintained,
- ensuring the building is compliant with all statutory requirements,
- ensuring the building is well run and making improvements where necessary,
The right person will be organised with excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who is energetic, friendly, has an outgoing personality, a ‘can-do’ approach to problem solving, and is able to work on their own and/or as part of a team. Depending on the skills presented, the job might also include some basic maintenance duties (desirable but not essential).
Experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
The job is part-time: 15 hours a week and is permanent (6-month probationary period)
The salary is £12,767pa
